(Noah) 71 : 7
وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا
And indeed in each time when I invited them for forgiving you to them, they inserted their fingers into their ears, and tried to cover them in their garments, and became arrogant in their false pride.
As explained in verse 59: 13, today the Hypocrites are fearing to present in front of believer who says that without testifying Adhikr none can become believer, or enter in the Paradise. When the believer passes through near them, they will wink at each other saying “here is that odd man going”. See explanation 39: 53-56; 54: 25; 63: 5-6; and 83: 29-34
